I find it funny how the three screenshots on this page seem completely meaningless until you click on one of them and then switch from the second to the third one and back, where a trollface flashes for a brief moment on each switch XD
This game is so cool!! the shader is really interesting, you could probably do a weird thing where you color objects in the frame in a fuzzy way that if screenshotted would just look like fields of color
Was a very cool experience, but I wish there was more to the horror of it. This feels like the perfect game to have things appear in the corners of your vision.
Whether you update it or not, I liked the idea. Good job
I have a bug report though; at least with my setup (2 monitors, 4k on left and 1080p on right), the game was unplayable by default; the window opened mostly off the bottom of the screen, split across both screens, and the standard windows options to move it wouldn't come up. I had to turn off my second screen to get it to come up as intended and be playable. Worth the little effort, but a lot of people might not know how to deal with this...
pressing windows+shift+left/right arrow keys will fit it correctly.
Normally that shortcut is meant to transfer apps to different monitors, but i found its quite useful when fullscreen games dont fit right by themselves
It could be a graphics driver issue, I'm not entirely sure. I updated the windows export again to include D3D12 which might fix something. Sorry about all the issues!
hi, its windows! i played for an hour or two and walked around the whole time, just looking at all the same things.. i did find a room with hearts and stuff and how everything went one color but then i just ended up back in the first room and i couldnt find ANYTHING
like i said in my other comment, i played for an hour or two and i only found one thing but then i just ended up walking back to the first room every time or hitting a wall and getting teleported back
Please update the links in the built-in godot asset library to be prefixed with "http" so that they work. Had to go thru a few google results to find you here. Good work btw, we need more innovation in shaders.

this moment was truly the scariest thing i've ever seen
I feel like this would work incredibly well in VR
This in VR would hurt my eyes
Having that pair of sunglasses on my desk for months finally paid off... Great experience!

Thank you! I have no plans to update it. I released the code so somebody might take it further
I'm really glad you made it, I hope someone does use it!
There is a troll face if you switch between the second and third screenshot.
This properly messed up my depth perception. My eyes still hurt. Great job!
Thanks for sharing all of this, it's really interesting.
YAY! COOL EXPERIENCE! gave me headache. WOULD RECOMMEND 10/10 THOUGH i didn't find the scary part. PRETTY COOL EFFECT
wtf. sindi mic will come to your house (a guinea pig) (not actually)
cool effect, but couldn’t figure out the scary part/objective
me neither
Thank you, cool experience!

Glad you liked it! Also thank you so much for the info, I hadn't tested it with two monitors. I'll see if I can fix the issue
I downloaded the game on windows, extarcted it, double clicked on Motus and the same thing happened!
This happened to me the first time I launched it, but then on a relaunch it worked fine
i launched it multiple times and it did not work
pressing windows+shift+left/right arrow keys will fit it correctly.

I just changed which fullscreen mode the game uses in the windows build. Download the newest version and let me know if anything change
Sorry for not replying sooner, hadn't got an alert about the reply!
I've tested with the new version and, yes, that works great now; thank you :)
normally with effects like these I adjust rather quickly but with this one I was just confused and bamboozled beyond comprehension. good job!
I downloaded and extracted the file but when I open it, it just shows a small black window that closes itself, anyone knows what this is?
Sorry about that, what platform are you playing on?
I suffer the same problem as you! pls help!

hhyper realistic graphics ^o^
i cant figure out the horror part :( where is it??? i type in scary at the title screen every time but it always looks normal
screenshot for proof?
Hey sorry about that! What platform are you playing on?
same, win 10 64
Just tested it in windows, everything seems to be working. Maybe you haven't gotten to it yet?

Have you tried it again? Like Branta said, play for a while longer because it definitely worked for me!
like i said in my other comment, i played for an hour or two and i only found one thing but then i just ended up walking back to the first room every time or hitting a wall and getting teleported back
I like how the picture is just TV static
If you click through the pictures quickly it's a trollface
Wow. I really love this. Is it the end when the noise is gone and I get closed out of the game or should I keep searching for secrets or something?
according to Branta, when the game closes, that means you've won.
Oh ok thanks
This is insanely trippy and makes for a great horror experience.
The volume is absurdly loud though with no way to adjust it, I had to lower my volume to 6% to it was at an acceptable level.
Holy shit I love this! It felt like i was having a bad trip

Thank you for pointing that out! I went and submitted an edit request with fixed links so hopefully it should be good soon
Love it. The sound was the cherry on top. I feel like it's forbidden to describe what I saw!
Glad you liked it!
Can you make a Mac/online version?
I added a mac version to the downloads. I don't have an Apple Developer ID Certificate so I used Godot's ad-hoc signature feature. You should still be able to run it, check out the "App is signed (including ad-hoc signatures) but not notarized" part of this page. Let me know if you have any problems.
Thanks! I check it out soon!
Currently on mac, and it works! Just had to "trust the source" or something
